How it works
- Filter stage
1. Water flow dynamics. When working, the liquid to be filtered enters from the water inlet of the equipment and is evenly distributed to the filter unit through a carefully designed diversion system. These units are usually composed of high-quality filter screens, and the aperture of the filter screen is preset according to the application requirements.
2. Impurity interception. As the water flows through the filter, the impurities in it are effectively intercepted, and the clean water continues to flow to the system output for subsequent processing or reuse.
- Automatic backwash stage
1. Trigger mechanism. The system has a built-in intelligent monitoring device, usually including a differential pressure sensor and/or a time controller, which is used to monitor the pressure difference on both sides of the filter or start the backwash program at preset intervals.
2. Backwash start. Once the set conditions are reached, the system automatically closes the water inlet valve and opens the sewage valve at the same time to change the direction of water flow. At this time, a part of the clean water or additional high-pressure water is guided to the other side of the filter screen or the surface of the filter screen to reverse the water flow to impact the filter screen and wash away the accumulated impurities.
3. Filter cleaning. During the backwashing process, some high-end filters will use mechanical rotation (such as pig sideburns or stainless steel wire brushes) to further enhance the cleaning effect and ensure that the filter is thoroughly cleaned.
4. Restore operation. After cleaning, the system automatically switches back to the filtration mode, the water inlet valve is reopened, the sewage valve is closed, and the filtration process continues.
