The AIDA Outer scraper self-cleaning filter is an industrial filter fabricated in stainless steel equipped with a scraper, that does not use any consumables. It is ideal for filtering high viscosity industrial liquids, such as painting, as well as for the chemical, cosmetic or food industries.
The AIDA filter is self-cleaning and automatic. It has an incredible ability to filter high viscosity products (up to 200,000 cPs). Designed and manufactured in France, this self-cleaning filter is simple, solid and efficient.
This industrial self-cleaning filter does not require any consumables, such as filter bags or filter cartridges and is fully automated. It is particularly suitable for industrial filtration of water-based or solvent-based paints and processes for the food industry.
Filtration status
Liquid flows in from the inlet, the disc-shaped scraper with spring abuts the inner surface of the filter element, stops at the top of the filter element, the liquid passes through the scraper, flows outwards from the inner surface of the filter element, the impurities are trapped on the inner surface, Outflow, as time goes by, impurities gradually increased pressure drop, the blade start to clean the filter element according the pressure differential or setting time.
Cleaning status：
Cylinder-driven scraper cleaning element up and down , When the scraper moves downward , the impurities are scraped and pushed to the bottom of the filter, a large proportion of impurities goes into the collection chamber. When the scraper moves upwards, the residual impurities are scraped off and pushed to the top of the filter element. The impurities are washed away by the flowing liquid, and pass through the scraper to return to the surface of the filter element. When the scraper moves downward, it is scraped away by several times Process, After surface cleaning, It restore the filtration ability, The filter working normally when on self-cleaning , the flow is not interrupted.
Impurities discharge status ：
After some cleaning cycles, the impurities accumulate to a certain amount, and the equipment periodically opens the drain valve to discharge the slag liquid with high concentration of impurities, it can also be recovered if necessary.
