Product Details
The six-layer stainless steel metal sintered mesh is a filter material made by overlapping six layers of stainless steel wire mesh and then sintering at high temperature based on metal sintering technology. It is composed of six layers of stainless steel mesh with different mesh sizes (aperture sizes). This design can achieve more refined filtration classification while increasing filtration efficiency and service life.
During the sintering process, the connection points between the wire meshes are melted and combined to form a whole, which makes the mesh have high mechanical strength and structural stability and can withstand high pressure difference and impact force. Since stainless steel (commonly used such as 304, 316L, etc.) is used, it has good corrosion resistance and is suitable for use in various chemical corrosion environments.
Production process
1. Selection of raw materials
Commonly used stainless steel materials include 304, 316L, etc. These materials are widely used in the production of filters due to their excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. Choose the appropriate type of stainless steel according to the corrosion, temperature and pressure conditions of the specific application environment.
2. Fabrication of wire mesh
First, the stainless steel wire is woven into a mesh according to the desired mesh number. Mesh number refers to the number of mesh holes within an inch length. The higher the mesh number, the higher the filtration accuracy.
3. Stacking and forming
Six layers of stainless steel wire mesh with different mesh numbers are stacked in sequence to ensure close fit between the layers. Then, the mold is used to press it into the desired shape and size to prepare for subsequent sintering.
4. High temperature sintering
The formed multi-layer mesh is placed in a high-temperature furnace for sintering. Under the action of high temperature, the contact points of the wire mesh are melted and re-solidified, forming a solid metallurgical bond, making each layer of the mesh a solid whole. This process also eliminates the voids inside the mesh, further improving the filtration performance.
5. Post-processing
After sintering, the mesh may need to go through processes such as cutting, edge treatment, and surface treatment to meet the requirements of the final product.
