The higher pressure resistance standard 5-layer sintered wire mesh is a kind of filter material, which is mainly used for filtering and separating liquids and gases. It is made by stacking multiple layers of metal wire mesh (such as stainless steel wire mesh) and then processed by high-temperature sintering process. It has the characteristics of stable structure, high filtration accuracy and strong corrosion resistance. Its filtration accuracy can range from 1μm to 200μm, or even higher, depending on the pore size of the selected wire mesh.
According to actual application requirements, the pore size, material and size of the sintered mesh can be customized to meet the filtration requirements under different working conditions.
Structural composition
The higher pressure resistance standard 5-layer sintered wire mesh is usually composed of five layers of metal wire mesh with different densities or apertures. These five layers can be gradually reduced in aperture from outside to inside, or different configurations can be designed according to specific filtering requirements. Such a design can not only achieve preliminary filtration of large particle impurities, but also perform more fine filtration inside, so as to achieve higher filtration efficiency.
Material
The most commonly used material for the higher pressure resistance standard 5-layer sintered wire mesh is stainless steel (such as 304, 316L, etc.), because stainless steel has good corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance. According to different use environments and medium characteristics, other metal materials such as monel alloy, titanium alloy, etc. may also be used.

Application fields
The higher pressure resistance standard 5-layer sintered wire mesh is widely used in liquid and gas filtration in petrochemical, water treatment, medicine, food and beverage, electronics and other industries, such as chemical reagent filtration, hydraulic oil filtration, drinking water purification, compressed air drying, etc.
Maintenance
- Regular inspection. Regularly check whether the sintered mesh is damaged or blocked, and replace or clean it in time.
- Backwash. For reversible filtration systems, backwash regularly to remove surface and deep impurities.
- Chemical cleaning. For dirt that is difficult to remove by physical methods, a suitable chemical cleaning agent can be used for cleaning, but it should be noted that the choice of cleaning agent should not damage the mesh material.
- Drying and storage. After cleaning, ensure that the sintered mesh is completely dry before storage to avoid corrosion caused by moisture.
Manufacturing process
1. Material selection and preparation. First, select the appropriate wire material (such as 304, 316L stainless steel) and wire diameter according to the filtration requirements. The mesh aperture and number of layers are determined according to the needs of the final application.
2. Stacking and arrangement. The selected wire meshes of different apertures are stacked layer by layer in the designed order to ensure that each layer is evenly aligned. These five layers usually include a coarse filter layer, an intermediate transition layer, and a fine filter layer, each of which has a specific filtration task.
3. Pre-pressing. The stacked multi-layer mesh is pre-pressed by a pre-pressing machine to make it fit tightly and prepare for subsequent sintering.
4. High-temperature sintering. The most critical step is to put the pre-pressed mesh into a sintering furnace and sinter it at a high temperature (usually over 1000°C). During this process, the contact points between the wire meshes melt and cool and solidify to form a solid overall structure while maintaining the openness of the mesh.
5. Cooling and post-processing. After sintering, the product needs to be slowly cooled to prevent deformation, and necessary cutting, edge processing and quality inspection are carried out.
